Craig Bourne (a.k.a. The Wizard of Was) went to Pembroke College, University of Cambridge (1995-1998) and took a BA (Hons) in Philosophy. He stayed at Pembroke to take the M.Phil. (1998-1999), specialising in decision theory, mathematical logic, philosophy of physics, and metaphysics. In 1999, he began a BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics and Physics. His Ph.D. (1999-2002) - A Defence of Presentism - investigates the nature of time (the metaphysics and logic of time, and the implications of modern physics for the philosophy). During 2002-2006, he was a Research Fellow at St.Catharine's College, University of Cambridge (being, in 2004-2005, a Lecturer in the Cambridge Philosophy Faculty). During 2006-7, he was a College Lecturer in Philosophy at Pembroke College and New Hall, Cambridge. From October 2007, he is Senior Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Hertfordshire.
